Common Questions
Everything you need to know about our Unity bootcamp in Melbourne
We get asked a lot of questions about how our bootcamp works, what you’ll learn, and whether it’s right for you. Here are the answers to what we hear most often.
Nope, we start from scratch. Our Unity Fundamentals program teaches you C# from the ground up, so complete beginners are absolutely welcome. You just need a willingness to learn and a laptop.
By week 3 of the Fundamentals program, you’re already building playable 2D games. We focus on hands-on projects early because that’s how you actually learn. By the end of 12 weeks, you’ll have multiple games in your portfolio ready to show.
Our main bootcamp runs full-time—about 40 hours per week over 12 weeks. We also offer evening and weekend workshops if you’re looking for something more flexible, though the intensive program gets you job-ready faster.
Yes. We don’t just teach you and send you off. You get career coaching, help with your portfolio, and we connect you with game studios and interactive entertainment companies across Melbourne. Our instructors are working developers, so they’ve got real industry connections.
We keep groups to around 12-15 people per cohort. Big enough to collaborate with other developers, small enough that you get real attention and feedback on your work.
Absolutely. We run free intro workshops most months where you can get a feel for how we teach and meet some of the team. No pressure, no sales pitch—just a real look at what we do.
